Frederico Campagna on end of history, our expiring reality-system, axial/ontological shift and the future adolescents we must prepare a fertile ruins for them to start worlding from. These feel like very potent narratives for overcoming inertia and nihilisms, re-centering our focus to a possible conceptual grounding for our shared project we could embrace and unify behind. The messy cultural and social collapse is an effect of the shifting foundations our reality was built on. Wholesome and sustainable action has never been more vital!
“To some extent, we have to leave ruins behind. In this particular moment in time, cultural producers should think about what they are leaving behind of this segment of time in terms of its potential as a ruin—that is, the potential of what we leave for inspiring, helping, aiding, offering something, on the basis of which post-future people will be able to start their own narration of the world.”
