DigixDAO winds itself down with a vote by token holders with a pretty nice USD profit for all holders. They kept the burn rate of the actual underlying ETH low as well Imho. The projects results ask questions of the limits of Goverance in Decentralised Autonomos Organisations (DAO) but present useful findings too for future development of DAOs. ...Read More
Vitalik Buterin discusses Credible Neutrality in the context of Incentivised Mechanisms of guiding human behavior. "... there is a very important principle that is at play, and one that is likely to become key to the discourse of how to build efficient, pro-freedom, fair and inclusive institutions that influence and govern different spheres of our lives. And that principle is this: when building mechanisms that ...Read More
The Common Stack team dicuss how blockchain technology can help satisfy Osrams 8 principles for managing a commons. Some examples of how their tech can help achieve this of course, but a rational discussion on how we can meet these principles when managing common public services. "Few people have contributed as much to our knowledge of the sustainable management of the commons as Elinor Ostrom. Winning the 2009 Nobel Prize in Economics for her work, Ostrom’s 8 principles for commons stewardship have set a standard for community management of shared resources. Although applying these rules at ...Read More

"Non-cooperative game theory, the original and most widely used branch of game theory, assumes the absence of an external authority to enforce rules. Fundamentally, I claim that the Ethereum ledger constitutes an incorruptible, omnipresent, external overseer that no matter the game is always available to enforce agreements among players. This ...Read More

With organisations such as Aragon beginning to experiment with Futarchy I thought it would be nice to revisit this excellent blog post about it by Vitalik Buterin.
I guess this article is a bit like the "drama" of crypto. Many of these lawsuits seem fundamental, or just people with pyramids but was surprised to see someone on this list that I personally know.
"Last week, the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA) announced the launch of the Mainnet Initiative, which aims to accelerate collaboration between enterprises and the Ethereum community working on the public mainnet. The initiative will be led by a technical working group and will provide a channel for mainnet R&D teams to ...Read More

Varios funcionarios del gobierno de EE. UU.
Moving from CAD to CAG: baking data-driven complexity models into our decision-support systems will revolutionize our ability to understand the implications of policy choices in our complex social systems. The future of DAO governance is emerging.
"One way to think about various kinds of crypto projects is through the lens of contract theory. An axiom of this area of legal scholarship states: “all but the simplest contracts are incomplete”. That is, contractual arrangements cannot anticipate every possible outcome or set of actions, given complex and dynamic ...Read More
