In my opinion, the Ripple Blockchain can bring a huge change in this perspective if they are cleared of there case that is ongoing. I see a huge potential in them with regard to payments industry.
There is also one more alternative which I have an eye on, which is trying to revolutionise the payment industry, that is Proton & Metal Blockchain
