Thanks for posting. OmniLite is going to allow one of the oldest blockchains Litecoin to have NFTs and tokens. Will it get adoption though in the face of stern competition that have already launched these things? I've seen people write off Litecoin time after time but yet it's still ticking along and one the major and most liquid tokens out there.

This is a port of the Omni asset protocol that originally appear in Bitcoin in 2014. Omni on bitcoin was how Tether originally launched (tether has since branched out to several different chains). It is unclear from this article of support for handling Omni assets is being added to the reference wallet. That step never happened on bitcoin

It's being received surprisingly well on r cc as well. Once upon a time, they would flame anything litecoin that got posted there with tons of downvotes and troll comments. So far so good. Is LTC also an UTxO chain as bitcoin ? I guess because it’s the same blockchain as BTC but improved.
