In online games, It is both good for customer and producer since now there is a proper way of monetizing the in-game purchases without becoming a known pro or streamer. Which would lead to people buying even more gear and lootbox/gachas. Also, EA studios can make their own currency that can be used across franchises for people buying in-game features and goods. MMO games can make a currency that can be bought and sold IRL and used in-game.

You are looking at this from a two dimensional perspective. For this example we'll say EA makes EAtoken, their own unique currency for EA games.I just want a Decentralized messenger app that I can trust. Is that so hard to ask for?People post on social media for others to see. Privacy and decentralisation aren't a big concern for the average person. Yeah, This ain't it cheif. So EA would then limit all transactions to their own host server and give all EA games an in-game market for buying and selling this currency.
