Turkey is steadily on the path to becoming a banana republic. It is now a long way from what it could have been.

Well all these were to be estimated because of the economic turmoil that has been going on for the past few months. By seeing the replacement of the central bank governor and also the statements of the authorities, it was predictable that something was going to happen. I think the regulation should have been dealt with more care and the government should have tried to discuss before taking such measures. The overall scenario represents the failure of the central bank to control the descent of the lira in recent months. And I agree with you that it could have been a complete different story but its now seems to be a long way back. Either way I am very excited to see how all these goes in the coming days. Guess this quarter of the year is going to be massive for the crypto industry, particularly in terms of adoption.

Im from Turkey,So here is the story; you can log in & trade on Binance or your hardware or software wallet, no problem with that. Turkish gov bans crypto only in shoppings. So You cant buy anything or sell anything by a cryptocurrency :(( (very wrong decision for most of people)

Turkey’s central bank is also banning payments providers from offering fiat-to-crypto onramps for cryptocurrency exchanges.
