Though bitcoin is highly speculative in nature, it is the best digital currency (another way to put it, 'digital gold') the world has ever seen. In my own opinion, its advantages still outweigh or far better than fiat currencies.

If the cryptocurrency is provided with gold, it will be the same as other paper currencies, and we do not need it, freedom is more important:))

I think economist Steve Hanke is right. Bitcoin and all other cryptocurrencies are much more volatile assets compare to traditional assets such as gold, silver, or stocks. But, also we have to understand that bitcoin has a steady growth in the past just like gold in the long term. Bitcoin just 10 years old now and needs more time for stability and mass adoption.
