I realy do not know should I keep my views here or not but I am just expressing my points as per reading of this article- The date doesn't matter the US didn't really declare independence on the 4th of July but its the day the public collectively agreed to celebrate independence on Juneteenth isn't the day the slaves were all freed this is fact but it is the day society agreed to celebrate the freeing of the slaves and that is what's important
