I am sharing just my personal observation! I'm very excited to read everyone's thoughts on this topic. The claim here (which apparently will be expounded on/substantiated in Part II) is that Imperialist countries still exploit or make profit off of China's development, therefore it can't really be counted as in the same league as other Imperialist powers. I'm surprised, however, to see no mention or analysis of whether China itself exploits or makes profit off of smaller and poorer nations, and how that might affect the question of whether or not it is an Imperialist Country.
