In Sydney, an overwhelmingly young crowd of some 10,000 people protested at Djarrbarrgalli (Sydney Domain), despite NSW Police threatening to issue fines. Thousands turned out to Melbourne's (Naarm) protest where they marched from Parliament House to the Flinders Street intersection.
